Award Recognizes Best Search Campaign for Work with Lark Hotels
DENVER (December, 16 2021) — Adtaxi is thrilled to be a finalist in the Best Search Campaign category at the 2021 Digiday Awards. This award highlights Adtaxi’s work with their client Lark Hotels, a premium boutique hotel brand. For over six months, Adtaxi has run a highly successful search campaign, leveraging their expertise as a Google Partner in tandem with their Automation Technology, to help maximize bookings for Lark Hotels.
“Over the last 18 months, Lark Hotels had to adapt quickly to the ever-evolving travel space. During this time, we needed to capture more direct bookings and rely less on room bookings from third party booking websites,” said Lark Hotels Katherine Mok, VP of Marketing and Communications. “With that goal in mind, starting in April 2021 Adtaxi crafted a strategy to capture the bottom-of-the-funnel search traffic where people are actively looking to book a hotel. The success we’ve seen since beginning our work with Adtaxi has been nothing less than impressive.”
Adtaxi’s approach required a massive shift from Lark Hotels existing strategy within search. In 2019, Lark Hotels’ former agency was running paid search (SEM) at around a 6x Return on Ad-Spend (ROAS). Over the same six months in 2021, Adtaxi’s SEM is averaging a 10.2x ROAS. Compared to Lark Hotels’ 2019 pre-COVID data, their efforts have delivered a significant improvement: SEM on its own is averaging a 10.2x ROAS over 6 months.
“The pandemic has forced many of our clients to reevaluate their advertising strategy. Lark Hotels’ main objective in working with Adtaxi was to increase sales and occupancy rates for all properties, increase direct-to-site e-commerce sales, and improve overall ROAS,” said Jennifer Flanagan, Adtaxi Vice President of Marketing. “It is extremely rewarding to be a part of such positive results for Lark Hotels, and to have our work recognized by the Digiday Awards.”
